FaceTime with Toddler

Monday and Thursdays are Baby/Daddy day. That means Kelsey takes care of the Toddler instead of sending them to daycare. They love each other and love their day together, but sometimes we do FaceTime with Toddler. It’s super fun.

We look at each other lovingly.

Wordless Wednesday: Laundry Mountain

I often joke about conquering laundry mountain on the weekends. I didn’t realize how close we really are to having a mountain made exclusively of laundry.

This, my friends, is laundry mountain. Population, the one cat who likes to lay on clean laundry.

And for those of you who complain about husbands

Mother’s Day: I want a redo

Welcome to the 50,000th Mother’s Day re-cap post on the World Wide Web!

I knew my hubby, and by extension, my little guy, would do something fantastic. Hubby is the best present giver in the history of the world. He always knocks gifts out of the park with his uncanny ability to figure out

See ID

Hubby and I went out on a lunch date yesterday to Fridays.

Remember back in the day when Fridays had super peppy servers with all the flair? Our server was a throwback to the golden days of Fridays flair. Flair = fun, right? That’s what we learned from Office Space. What he lacked in

The magic dishwash fairy and other pet peeves

One pet peeve that shouldn’t drive you crazy, but does.

I’m a confusing person. There are things I don’t care about at all that I should care about, like the fact there are at least 10 empty Starbucks Frappuccino bottles bouncing around in my car or the Cheerio I dropped under my

Then I got dumped. Then I graduated from college, and then graduated from college again with my

Wendys, you’re on my list

So if you watch TV at all and don’t fast forward through the commercials, you know that Wendy’s now has their small size Frosty for 99 cents. I’ve been obsessed with them for a month or so because 1) they are delicious and 2) they are only 99 cents, so it’s perfect for daily

Lower. No, Lower.

Yesterday I had a OB appointment.

I’m 27 weeks pregnant and it was time for the dreaded glucose screening. And then they were going to give me a shot of some antibodies because I have Rh negative blood and my blood might fight with my baby’s blood? SCIENCE. And while I was there, they

A fairytale about plants

I have had a craptacular few days because ridiculousness is just boiling over into every aspect of my life. Sometimes I wonder how many times I’m going to say to myself “Is this really happening?” and/or “what is wrong with people?” and/or “am I taking crazy pills?”

So in honor of this week in
