Jamberry Nail Wrap Review and Giveaway

My love affair with nail polish is well documented. It started about a year ago when I got some Minnie polish from my bestie, and it’s continued at a steady pace. I have drawers and drawers of nail polish. Too much nail polish, a person might say.

You know what really, really sucks about nail polish? The chips. You guys, the chipping really sucks. nail polish chips really buts a damper on my pursuit of beauty perfection.

A few months ago, a friend sent me a sample of Jamberry Nail Wraps, a new way to style your nails with long-lasting patterns. Using heat and pressure, Jamberry Nail Wraps create a waterproof, protective seal on your nail, which means a few things:

  • No chips
  • Long wear (like, 10 days of nail design without smudges, wear or peeling)
  • Durability (Jamberry Nail Wraps are perfect if you have a little one at home and are washing your hands 150 times a day)

I loved the samples so much because they give me great “nail art” style (like those complicated manicures you see pinned on Pinterest…don’t lie, you pin them too) without the hassle. Each sheet has 18 wraps in a variety of sizes. The Jamberry Nail Wraps are easy to cut down for small nail beds, and one sheet will give you at least two manicures and two pedicures — and depending on the size of your nails, possibly more.

The wraps are easy to apply. I mean, it’s not nail polish easy, but by the time you touch up your nails every day and remove the polish, it’s about the same total time. Jamberry Nail Wraps use gentle heat and pressure — a hair dryer, flat iron or a mini heater — to get a secure seal. After they are sealed, you trim off the excess and file the edges. No top coat is necessary!

At my Jamberry Nail Wrap party, I was able to get 5 sheets for $25 thanks to the amazing hostess rewards program (the LEAST you can get for hosting an online party is a free set!) Here are a few of my favorite patterns:

Jamberry offers more than 150 different styles in a variety of patterns, colors and finishes. Jamberry Nail Wraps also offers a buy 3 get 1 free promo, so you can get four sheets of Jamberry Nail Wraps for the price of ONE visit to the salon. How can you beat that?

Jamberry Nail Wraps are perfect for busy moms or working ladies who don’t have time to paint her nails daily. They are a great way to express your style and get a long lasting manicure on a budget.

I love the product so much that I have two really fun announcements:

  • These go right on top of real nails right?

Yes! They do go on top of real nails and keep a tight seal so they last a long time. The ones I put on two weeks ago are still on my nails. They are really great! Want to try some? I can send a sample.

At the end of the two weeks they didn’t chip at all? Even through dishes? I can’t fins anything that withstands my daily tasks…

Sorry I just saw this. :) Yes — I wore them for two weeks and I had no chips. I have been wearing polish on my nails for a very long time and if I could go three days without some kind of chipping, I was doing great. Jamberry wraps have been really great for me because I don’t have time to polish every day! If you’re interested, I can send you a sample accent nail so you can try it out…email me at amandaaustin519@gmail.com and I’ll get it in the mail!
