Welcome Katie from Eure Girls and Boys for our special guest for this weeks Celebrity Roundup. Not only is she a rabid fan of my Roundup, but a consumer and recaper of my favorite magazine, Us weekly. What’s not to love?
Give her a warm welcome and think of me because while you are reading this fab Roundup, I’m chasing a 13 month old baby away from an antique nativity scene displayed at baby level. Merry Christmas to me.
Also a very special thank you to my sister, Sarah from princess and the blog for posting this while I was without Internet access. It takes a village to write a blog.
First, I just want to say how excited I am that Amanda is giving me the opportunity to guest post on her famous weekly Celebrity Roundup post. I hope she’s enjoying her holiday break, while I’m available to guest post because I’m, you know, still working.
While I can easily s
ay that I never used to care about the royal family, I must admit that I will actually read any stories about William and Kate. And I’m very happy to see that they still look happy heading into their first Christmas as a married couple, with William even learning some new dance moves at a charity event! Also, Kate is looking really skinny, and I don’t think her hands in the vicinity of her stomach can possibly be hiding a giant secret baby bump.

People who refer to the stupid Kardashians as America’s royal family. I don’t think Queenie (as we like to call Queen Elizabeth) and family would ever unveil this kind of holiday card. Or use sweat shop labor to produce whatever it is they’re trying to sell. Clothing apparently. Though Kris Jenner said, “As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all.” So she has no idea. Now I’m even more embarrassed to admit that my husband turned on the current Kardashian reality show and we watched it for a few minutes last week.
Pregnant celebrity stories this week:
WillowAlyson Hannigan showed off her new baby bump for the first time!- Jennifer Garner continues to be my favorite celebrity mom because she always looks like a normal mom. Not to mention Ben Affleck’s shaggy look. Do you want to look at several of their family pictures from the year? I do!
- And Jessica Simpson? She’s a regular kind of pregnant woman, too. I feel like I can’t say anything bad because I was certainly a large pregnant woman, but, yeah…she may not make her goal of not going over 200 pounds.
And a few other fun stories:
- Something else I’m a little embarrassed to admit? I will certainly watch another 32 chapters of R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet. I hope he gets to make that happen.
- Mariah and Nick Cannon’s babies are actually really cute, featured in their first music video this week.
- Could this sweet Justin Bieber actually be the father of this terrible person’s baby? I say no. And I’ll continue to believe him unless the DNA test says differently.
- Lindsay Lohan ready for fake “Untitled” project to begin filming approximately never.
- Jon Bon Jovi is dead. Not really.
- Mad Men’s filming again finally! Look how happy Don Draper is.

Did you see some time in the last couple months an article about how Mad Men’s planned ending will be in the present day? I’m interested.
I’ve been a little royals-obsessed since I watched like 5 hours of coverage of the wedding that April morning, and I forced my girls to get out of bed early to enjoy the experience with me
YAY baby #2 for Willow! I love her! And I love Jennifer Garner she gives all of us normal girls a great name! I can deal with Ben’s face but that hair has GOT to go – is he doing this for a role?

Jennifer Garner is totally *that* mom. I love that she’s a down to earth celebrity, too. We could do with a few more of those.
Also? SO happy Mad Men is coming back soon. I got my hubby and my mom hooked on it, and then *poof!* they were gone. WTF? I miss it.
