I’m going to be frank here — yesterday sucked.
I’m facing some big changes in my life. Nobody is sick or dying or losing their jobs. I’m not pregnant or anything. It’s only a little change, but it will end a working relationship and begin another.
Even small changes can be felt enormously.
There is a reason lyricists call them “winds” of change. It sweeps in like a storm, moving, pulling, flooding an otherwise peaceful existence. Change tears roots that have been planted for months, years, decades.
Change can also be cleansing.
(Still waiting for that feeling to set in.)
No matter what kind of changes come along, two things stay the same — the love of my sweet little family.

Whoa, hold up, I’m confused. Are you getting a new job?

No…new manager and new team, though.
Change is stressful, even when it’s positive. Thinking about you & sending good thoughts.
Thanks Angela…it’s really difficult.

I’m one of those annoying people who embraces change well. My husband? Not so much. We balance each other nicely that way.
I’m sorry things are so stressful right now, though. I hope your new manager and team end up working well together and that there’s not a whole lot of extra work involved for you.

Sometimes change really is necessary. I remember when I finally decided that I needed a new job a little over 2 years ago. I had such amazing friendships and connections with the people at my last job but I wasn’t happy and I wasn’t making enough money to survive. I took a chance at applying for a secretary job where I work now and ended up with another job and promoted in less than a year.
I know it is going to be hard and I know it is going to suck but I just know that this is going to be good for you. Hang in there. You will see the light soon enough. I will hold your hand even if it is just virtually! HUGS!

Oh sweet girl.
You are so right that you have what’s MOST important no matter what.
Hold on to that.
(And if things get REALLY bad look at that picture of Lindsay Lohan in your “You might also like” and feel better about situation. ;-0)

I’m one of those crazies who need change, but change on the job side always takes time to adjust to. I’m sure it will all be for the best!

Love the pics, especially the nose.
I am dealing with change too, frustrating and liberating at the same time. Waiting to feel the full effect too.

Deep breathe . This is doable. If we never had uncomfortable moments then how would we ever learn what we were capable of doing and achieving?? WE stretch and grow because we get uncomfortable forcing us to move forward into the new heights we are supposed to reach.

Change can suck. A lot. But just think. Without change we wouldn’t have the Double Down.

Isn’t it the best to always have our families at home to keep us feeling lucky and loved. Hope you are getting through things okay. Always here for you if you need me!

Change can be good or bad depending on how you look at it! So try to keep a positive outlook and it may not be that bad!

Change is so hard. The older I get, the more averse I become to it. Hang in there, friend.

Change can be very tricky. It’s always been easy for me to get into a comfort zone and want to stay there. I LOVE people, and I get very attached. Sending positive thoughts your way! It’s never easy to say goodbye to those we’ve grown attached to!
