This one is going to be picture heavy because I have a fun hangover.
Baby Blogworthy’s birthday party was a huge success. We had a great crowd of my closest friends and family, good food, cute decorations, the best cake smash EVER and lots of baby playtime.
We had him down for a nap and while he was napping transformed the house into piratefest 2011. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the look on his face.

I’m sure you’ll remember how much I love But-R-Cream (r) icing from Walmart. Here is where we pretty much die from sugar overload.
The food consisted of cheese cubes, crackers, chips and dip, a veggie tray, calzone rolls with homemade marinara sauce, Sweet Hawaiian Roll ham sammies and raspberry punch.
We had some fun printables so our guests could “dress up” like pirates, including a pirate hat, eye patch and mustaches on a stick.
The guests left with their very own pirate booty — which included gold bars, gold coins and “jewels” (Skittles!)

We even had pirate shaped cake pops by Bits and Bites by Ana (delicious and adorable.)
